Virtual Oral Presentations
If you have an accepted oral presentation and have registered for virtual participation, our broadcasting provider TV Worldwide will contact you by e-mail to pre-record your presentation. Please have your talk ready and plan on speaking for no more than 10 minutes. During the scientific oral session at the meeting, all pre-recorded talks will be played following the in-person presentations, with a block of time reserved at the end of the recordings for discussion of the session’s virtual presentations.
Virtual Poster Presentations
Please upload your e-poster in PDF format no later than August 10. Instructions can be found here. We have scheduled a virtual poster session on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. (CDT), one week before the meeting. Presenters will have 5-minute time slots to discuss their posters and answer any questions. This virtual poster session is open to all participants, and all poster presenters can sign up here for the virtual poster session by July 30, 2021.
In-Person Oral Presentations
For those attending in person, oral presentations are allotted a total of 15 minutes (10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for discussion). Presentations can be tested on Mac and Windows computers in the speaker-ready rooms the day before the presentation. For Monday morning sessions, presentations should be uploaded to the meeting computers on Sunday between 4:00–6:00 p.m. and Monday morning before 8:00 a.m. For other days, upload and submit your oral presentation file to the computers in the speaker-ready room by 4:00 p.m. the day before the session. Oral in-person presenters will use the Mac and Windows computers provided at the meeting. Presenters will not be able to project from their own computers.
In-person oral presentations will be scheduled at the beginning of each session, followed by a block of virtual presentations.
